Minecraft Name: Berserk_on_xbl Suggestion: Changing the market stations numbering system Reason: What I mean by this is that since the new market consists of 4 identical wings of different colors, instead of just naming one wing Station 1-24 and another Station 25-48 etc, name them Station RL ## (red, left, ##) RR ## (red, right, ##) and so on for each wing. or do R##(1-24) for Red ##(1-24)
I like the bottom one. It's much like how it is with streets and such, even on one side, odd on the other, with an identifier(streetnames irl, Red/blue/green/yellow in-game)
i actually meant to but them as 01, 02 up to 09 so its always two digits, but idk if it would matter. and it would help someone without access to warps to be able to find a shop much easier, a 1-96 system will be hard to follow (again)
I like this idea. It would take a bit of logistical work on the part of updating region names, and some forum stuff though. Maybe once all of the moving is done, this could be implemented. I guess my one complaint about the way the new market is laid out is that there is so much empty space. I know that is to keep the lag down, but couldn't we use something like math to find out what could be put there without adding lag? It wouldn't have to be shops there, but maybe something.
But wouldn't this confuse the people who use the /warp commands? /warp station__ would no longer work.
the regions for the stations are getting their names changed to accomodate the new setup, that means that the warps will work but it will be /warp stationR16 etc.
I went to the new shop for the first time last night... I thought the signs said "Work zone ahead". You should have seen me jump when I poofed to the other side. To my knowledge, the old market had about 90 shops. According to this map, there will be 96. Remember too, there were a lot of shops underground that we're not used. Now as these are on the surface, they are prime real estate.
Before Andrew moved the shops he asked how many there were in the market and everyone said 96, and if you do /warp station96 and station97 youll see that 96 works buy not 97.
+1 for the renumber idea, since it no longer makes sense due to the new layout, but would also add an amendment to this around the /warp side, it would be better with /warp R26 instead of /warp stationR26
