Real estate isn't a huge commodity on ECC. No matter who you are and how much money you have, the number of towns you can own is regulated. Just because there is more or less "supply" doesn't necessarily mean the price should fluctuate. In all reality the demand for space only matters so much, as shown by ocean towns in Legacy. Also, $10k isn't a lot of money... I made it to $70k then started clearing a spot for my upcoming town. I easily made $25k just doing that. Sorry, -1.
The cost of rank upgrades aren't based on supply/demand, they are mainly used as mechanisms to remove money from the economy. So rising shouldn't have any impact on the price of upgrading to Mayor. -1, Sorry.
This is supposed to be a hardcore economy server. Making our current ranks cheaper would go against being hardcore. -1
I think the current price is perfect where it is. Players are able to achieve it all the time, yet it isn't so cheap that it can be achieved in a day. Getting mayor helps the economy by removing 85k from the server, which combats inflation. Personally, I see no issue with our current rank prices. Anyone can get mayor, they just need to put some time and effort into it.
Spend a couple of days making enough money to get a decent farming tool or access to a farm that doesn't require a tool... Spend another day or two farming and you will have enough money for Mayor. Or, on the other hand, spend a few days mining. Mayor price is fine how it is. Users who can play a couple hours every other day can get Mayor in a couple of weeks - users who can play most of the time can get it in a few days to a week, depending on if they are on-peak or off-peak. Seems like a good balance to me. Increase the price and it'll be too daunting, and decrease the price and it'll be too easy. -1

I think mayor and president ranks have become redundant and that, if anything, prices should increase. I've grown tired of seeing players come on and becoming tycoons overnight
It should go up if anything. But, I'm against changing prices of all ranks whether it goes up or down. -1

I have to say I don't think the price should change. 85k isn't hard to make, and I've even seen people donate that much to people for mayor.
Personally, I did small jobs and bought a pumpkin axe and perms to a pumpkin farm. Then, farmed my way to the money.
