Minecraft Name: Netsui
Suggestion: My suggestion would be to enable to fishing drops for the 4/5 treasure hunter rank.
Reason: As of right now, once you reach level 600 fishing there is no reason to continue as every single drop is disabled, why they're all disabled I'm not sure as I've never gotten an answer for that. What I would I suggest is that at least the Ghast tear drop (item ID 370) is enabled.
The full list of drops that could be enabled keeping in mind that all disk drops are disabled on the server already as the disk drops in 3/5 were also disabled and I do not expect them to be enabled. The full list of applicable drops are as follows:
Other Information: The only possible reason for diamond tools and armour being disabled is to prevent over saturation in the diamond market, this would not be a problem as MCMMO repair's child skill Salvaging is not enabled on our server.
- Diamond sword (276)
- Diamond spade (277)
- Diamond pickaxe (278)
- Diamond axe (279)
- Diamond helmet (310)
- Diamond chest plate (311)
- Diamond leggings (312)
- Diamond boots (313)
- Ghast tears (370)
As of right now there are only 2 players above level 600 fishing, RockDassie and myself and it has taken both of us months of work to even reach this level, for there to be no benefit of reaching such a level is disconcerting.
Eventually when 5/5 is reached there is likely to be another suggestion for that.

Weighing in here because I'm currently the only other player affected by this.
As Net mentioned it's taken us months of fishing to get to the tier 4 drops. Now, with fishing in the low 600s, one level of MCMMO fishing skill takes about an hour and a half. And that's with MCMMO plus x4. It's more than a little disappointing to find that after so much work not even a single new drop can be had from the time invested.
I can understand why all the diamond drops were initially removed. When fishing was first enabled diamonds were worth much, much more than they are now. With diamonds being worth that amount of money and fish being worth $50 each, it would have been a significant source of income. But soon after diamonds slid in price from $60-75 to $45 and then on down to $30 where they've stayed ever since. Fish have since been cut to $10.
Now that fish have lost 80% of their value and diamonds have lost 60% of their value, fishing will not even approach a third of what farming (any crop) or mining makes per hour if this suggestion were accepted. But don't take my word for it, let's look at the actual drops.
I don't have access to the config files so I have no idea what the actual drop rates are, but after literally hundreds of hours of fishing I can tell you that the amount of treasure received per hour is not large. I usually get anywhere from half to two thirds of an inventory of treasure per hour. Now, that's mixed iron and gold tools and armor. I'm going to assume that iron will stop dropping and diamond will take its place. That means anywhere from 10-15 pieces of diamond treasure per hour (the rest being gold treasure).
Lets take a look at the diamond-worth of those tools and armor:
Hoe: 2 diamonds
Shovel: 1 diamond
Pick: 3 diamonds
Axe: 3 diamonds
Sword: 2 diamonds
Boots: 4 diamonds
Helm: 5 diamonds
Chest: 8 diamonds
Legs: 7 diamonds
Chances of receiving each drop are equal, so the average number of diamonds received per drop is 3.9 (35 total diamonds / 9 drop types). With 10-15 drops per hour that's 39 to 58 diamonds per hour (let's use an average of 49 diamonds for simplicity's sake). In the same hour one would also accumulate about 1.75 stacks of fish (let's call it 112 fish, 64*1.75) and about 30 levels of experience.
That gives us:
$1120 from fish
$1100-1500 from experience on the player market (this varies tremendously)
$1470 from diamond treasure on the player market
Farming any crop makes from $15-20k per hour.
Mining with low MCMMO makes approximately $6-12k per hour.
Mining with high MCMMO and MCMMO Bonus Plus x3 can make $15-20k per hour.
Fishing now makes ~$2.4k per hour with experience sales.
If this suggestion were accepted, fishing at MCMMO level 600+ would raise to $3.9k per hour assuming that diamond drops can be sold on the player market for market diamond rate (which is unlikely). It seems to me that the small amount of additional income per hour (approximately $1.5k) is an appropriate reward for the hundreds of hours required (quite literally) to reach level 600 fishing.
So, +1-

Good Idea its unfair for a person who fishes like 1-2 months (don't know) to get from 400 - 600. It is andrewkm's decision because I know that the plugin would not disable it maybe PM him directly if there was no answer or pm wewin/khobbits

I think this should be looked at by andrewkm andrewkm really. This is quite a serious amount of time they have spent getting this lvl and it can't be a waste

As both RockDassie and I close in on 800 fishing it would be more beneficial to the both of us if fishing could be more than a time sink with little to no reward, which is how it currently is.

i dont even fish but i do agree, fishing at high levels needs to be rewarded more. It has taken them months to get high fishing, this is the least that could happen :3

+1 I never saw fishing as a viable source of income for these reasons alone.

Its the only reason I don't fish, Netsui, I give you so much respect for taking the time to fish, however I could never do it. Getting back to the suggestion though, its great, definitely worth adding in the ghast tears atleast, it would be the only thing possible that would make going above level 600 fishing worthwhile.

I believe that enabling these would be a great idea. It would make fishing worth it and it would make users want to train. It would also promote users buying the mcmmo levels due to fishing being so hard to train. I know personally I would want to train fishing a lot more if the treasure were enabled

I couldn't agree more, If you spend SOOO Much money, Or even spend The amount of time that it took all your hard working fishers out there You should at least be able to get the drops that are actually worth it.

i agree with this as well, if you spend so much time training fishing you should deserve to get some decent items with it, and like what lwhitaker said it would push more people to buy ranks in fishing as well.

I would have to agree with this, I have yet to train fishing, and haven't bought any levels, but with soon enough I'll decide that training anything and everything is a good idea, and it seems like enabling drops past 600 would make this worthwhile. While the market might inflate with the extra diamond I truly don't see it making that much of a difference with the few hundred miners on ECC, so all in all you have my +1.
