I disagree. The point of shouts is to take money out of the economy. Just like lotto. I heard that a while back that tickets went to 2k each. Because of the price, less people bought them. Because less people bought tickets there was less money coming out of the economy. I doubt people here will buy /me for 5k very often. Lets say there is 2 people who buy a /me a day on average. That means that an extra 10k is going out of the economy. Now, lets say that there is 20 people who buy a /me a day on average for a price of 1k. That means that an extra 2ok is leaving the economy. I think that 1k would be more beneficial to the economy than 5k because it would be more rare for someone to buy it. I'm not saying this because I'm afraid of high prices. I'm saying this because it would be more effective at 1k.

the /shout bypasses all that and is therefore always visible. I say that's quite a difference. -

I agree with kuke
/me should stand out but be ignorable

-1. Someone could easily troll in things such as lotto by doing: /me bought 100 tickets! Draw in 3 seconds. That could be used to troll and trick people by faking commands, which is already illegal.

The advantage I can see is it would be [G] Chewychunga bought 100 tickets. But if your not in global you won't see it at all
I would also like to see colours and stuff added to /me and that's reason your paying for it

/me originally was enabled for free and would show everywhere. Andrew removed it because a couple of my friends (old users who no longer play) spammed up chat. That spam, worst I saw it, was a /me every 10-30 seconds, for about 5 minutes, give or take time between the /me's.
If /me is now channel-based and ignore-able, costs money, and can ***very easily be moderated by Staff***, I see no issue with adding it back. As well, I am sure KH or someone else could even block usage of it in certain channels. If people are really worried about false messages (which happens all the time, anyway, without /me.....), then it could be blocked from things like Global, and only allowed in local (good for role play), party chat (private), town chats (usually private), etc. -
