I don't think lava protection is the answer, but I wouldn't mind seeing this added in another way. Mainly because lot of people often mine in the Main world, which I hate to see, and this could provide some more incentive to mine in the mining world.

I would love this, it would first of all give people something else to look up to buying, would benefit hard working miners, and would of course take money out of the economy.

I agree with everyone above me this is a great idea a bit costly but definetly something to save for its way cheaper than buying pyro+ and /feed and water+ and fly+ and other such donations to keep you alive! Hope this gets added +1

 

Couldn't there be a donation that adds extra hearts? Like health boost or something :p

Sorry, I just don't really see a need for a mining rank. Maybe if the rank increased exp from mining ores or something, but that in itself would just be OP

 

I think increasing the number of hearts is a good idea, but if you think about it, it will draw away demand for pyro+ and fly+ because they can prevent lava/fall deaths another way. I do think it will help encourage people to stay in the mining world though.
It'd be really cool if you could buy the rank and it was like a VIP mining world though, so it wouldn't be ravaged by builders etc.

at even 50K this would make the $30 pyro+ donation useless, which btw is worth upto 180K instead of the 50K.

 

um... Unless I am misunderstanding this, then absolutely not. Just buy fly+, pyro+ and water+ and you won't die.

 

There easily could be but still that might cost more still plus that would work in all worlds im guessing why not just make optional ranks for the mining world gives people who have basically millions something to buy and do :D

We used to have a rank for Mining world. It was called Resident. We then realized that the mining world being resident+ only was causing the main world to be ripped to shreds.

Now the mining world is open to all. It is a free area where anyone can go and mine. How does one protect themselves in the mining world? Prot 4 or Fire Prot 4 armor. OR you can get water+/Pyro+/Fly+.

Basically I don't think its a good idea to add something that could negatively affect the sale of supporter features.

I say they could add a feature like this for donation but they would have to remove sg, pvp, but how would it work in private pvp areanas? thats my problem with it..

I see where revans coming from... it would slow down sales or stop them because of this maybe only add like 1 or 2 hearts or give them an absorption effect? If they were given 10 more hearts it could harm donations features sales but if they added 1 or 2 people would buy the rank then buy features to help them become almosyt invincible... but what happens when people buy all those donations and want to feel just more powerful... they buy this rank
