Minecraft Name: Assajj_Ventress Suggestion[b/]: Moderator/member Chat Channel for people to chat with the mods for people who do not want to chat on teamspeak, or simply are not aloud to use it (some parents are strict) Reason: I believe that A server who talks and chats together will have a better time understanding eachothers needs. Any Further Information: I think having a place on the forum were the mods and the members of the community can just chew the fat would be an awesome idea I believe a chat room on the forum would bring in alot of new possibilities like answering common questions.. dealing with issues etc. I understand the mods will not always have time for this but I bet some just want to sit down relax and chat for a while with the community while mining or something.
Sorry, I'm not completely sure what you are suggesting. It sounds like something sort of like the shoutbox. Which, we already have.
yes but im saying a page devoted to mods talking to people not the shoutbox, like an actual chat page, with sections for topics and such
so irc? The shoutbox is already dead, unless the server is down, i just dont see a point in more of them.
Our shoutbox is already dead (other than server downtime). Adding more would just make it worse. Also, if you need to talk to a mod just ask in-game or forum PM.
Ch g ya not what i was getting at, but our shoutbox isnt even used so not sure why we even have one so meh
I think if anything lose the shoutbox idea and make a Builders+ type forum. Like Resident+, Mayor+, etc.
I personally think that this isn't really necessary. We already have enough different ways for players to ask questions/communicate with staff. A player can already ask in-game through global, on the forums in the help/support section, or PM'ing Staff members in game or on forums. Adding another forum/shoutbox/chat room just results in another thing which Staff need to keep an eye on. The less of these there are to watch, the quicker the response is likely to be.
