I just simply think this would make some names a bit long.

 

What about people that already are a mod? Example
[Moderator]SoftlyPsychotic + whatever her [VIP] thing actually is.
This would be a nice thing to do for those on wiki as they work hard and do a great job, but i think adding more tags would be a little overkill, although a nice idea.

 

Most of the Wiki team is staff. The only people that aren't that I can think of are myself, Pbrassat and Skylexia

 

Let's say _John_Galt got on the wiki team, then...

They're wiki-team members, they don't deal with in-game anything. If anything they should get a tag on the forums, but not in-game.

 

Perhaps this suggestion could be achieved through banners along the lines of the 'Premium User' & 'Staff Member' banners.

 

But imagine those with 3 banners, that would look weird.

Seems incredibly long to me. As the Wiki Team Admin, I can honestly say that, quite like with staff, we don't manage the wiki for recognition. The wiki team wants to help the community. The only reason we have staff tags in game is because we need to be able to help people in game.

That being said, for the sake of helping users identify the Wiki team to show issues, I would not be against a banner next on the forums that says 'Wiki Team' like we have for Staff.

Quite like with staff, it should be current only. We don't need 100 different people with that banner, it would defeat the purpose of being able to identify the current wiki team.

 

I'd like to see a banner for it. No tags though.
