Reason: I was trying to think of a new forum medal and I thought well, there's a medal only obtained through nstars and putting up an application for a $250,00 medal then it hit me. There's donation medals but not a medal achieved through just donating for a medal. Any Other Information: I would suggest the medal to be a $ tag and worth around $15-$30. Note: I want you the users to comment what the medal should look like. We always get the best ideas when everyone shared their thoughts. I gave my opinion, now give yours! We already have the bitcoin medal, and any donation medals over the $1600ish dollar one are pretty much that anyway (because there aren't that many features). Seems a bit too confusing to have both "Donation Medals" and a "Medal Donation".
I agree, there's not need for different medals based on whether you donate ingame or donate for the medal. And we do have that bitcoin medal which is obtained by sending a certain amount of bitcoins to andrew. I believe the value of those bitcoins is somewhere in your $15-30 range, so it already covers your suggestion.
But bit coins are an incredibly unsteady currency and their values jump up and down all the time like stocks and is never a set amount.
That's why Andrew won't support them as payment for features. He will however support them being donated, if only for the forum medal.
Current worth of a bitcoin medal seems to be floating around $45-50 USD based on the last couple that I purchased.
I'm aware of that, but, wouldn't this add to the stress that is already overloading on andrew? Revan/GA should be able to do this medal.
