-1 it would make kits not worth it since SG would be devided in 2 cathegories: kit and no-kit. Ofc if you had all the kits you'd still have an advantage but people with less kits would just go in the no-kit arena so therefore no advantages. Anyway star tools also exist so all the big sgers will probably go there

Such constructive responses. I'm completely convinced that No-Kit SG Arenas are the worst idea ever now.

 

+1. kits are by far the worst thing Ive seen on ecc. It is a symbol of pay-to-win. this solution will allow kit users to still have an advantage sometimes, but it will also give builders a chance. less builders will quit and will donate in the future. now onto all the kitters arguments and why they are terrible
1. "I payed for my kits." you will still have them and you still will have an advantage because the no kit arena will fill up
2. "well kits make up most of the server donations." no, kuukelekuuko (or however you spell it) says that it only makes up 2/5 of donations. that money can be made up with all the people who wont quit now.
3. "its not fair that they will have it easier then me" I honestly think nicit destroyed this one enough already
4. "you should have to support the server to have a chance" NO NO NO! you know what that's called? its called pay-to-win. oh and if this is true its a "donation" they don't need perks why play on here if I can have a chance elsewhere.

The worst part is all kit supporters say is "its not fair because I payed money." Cant you guys think of the rest of the community and the fact that your playerbase has declined by 200 players from a year and a half ago. pretty soon you kit users will have no one left to use your advantages on and ecc will just be a dead server. And whats also annoying is how people who argue against kits are treated. I said kits shouldn't exist and a bunch of kit users roasted me and said I was a "troll" and basically went on to insult me and be mean to me. (within the rules of course)

Survival Games isn't supposed to have kits that give you an advantage in the first place. All these kits are doing is farming newer players making them leave the server and making the rich get richer.

Oh yes, this totally adds to the discussion.

In all honesty, I think kitters have already made their gains from SG (They've made millions of dollars off of SG already using their kits) and for the well being of the Server kits need to be phased out. I know one of most used responses to players who say "I hate kits!" is "Just go mine and farm instead" or "This isn't a SG server". However they're completely ignoring the fact that SG is also a very attractive feature for ECC. I, like many other players, love the economy aspect of ECC but also like SG. It's unfair for the people like that to get destroyed by kitters when they haven't bought a kit. It often leads to confusion among other things such as harrassment and accusations. Heck, stay 30 minutes at local spawn, you'll see players calling other people hackers because they dont understand kits among other things. This isn't what ECC's supposed to be. One of the things I like most about ECC is the community. And when a players joins the server for the first time to see vulgarities at spawn about kits and such, it isn't that welcoming at all.

Some changes are for the better. Sure, many of those changes upset some groups of people, but in the long run they benefit society as a whole. This applies to IRL and ECC, and I think No-Kit arenas are a move in the right direction.
