    Current Price: .40

    Suggestion: Exactly .60, no more

    Pumpkin farmers make too little money, even with speed 2 potions. But only 870.40 for a full inventory is too low. If the price change were to happen, we would make a much more comfortable 1305.60.

    Or maybe Physy/Andrew could host double pumpkin weekends or at least 1.5x pumpkin weekends. That would also be nice, because melons are far more popular than pumpkins. Someone once suggested a double melon weekend, maybe we can do that for both pumpkins and melons so none of us are unfairly punished.

    Pumpkin farming already makes a lot of money. Espicially when farming is the most inflationary money making method. At least with mining you somewhat interact with the player market (Selling diamonds, emeralds ect.) but with farming all money made is printed. Now let me remind you, farming is the most effortless way of making money for the money it makes. It requires no concentration. I can farm for hours, while watching a movie, reading ect.

    Now, ill just go off this post; http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/price-suggestion-pumpkin.113238/#post-605318

    Pumpkin farming can already make 14.4k an hour if you do it right. That's more than you can make per an hour with a melon sword! Now raising it to 60 cents will give you the ability to make around 20k per an hour! Yes, that's right, 20k per an hour for a tool you paid 10k for.

    Now, unless you want ECC economy to be destroyed, pumpkin prices should stay the way they are.

    I'm assuming that by "doing it right," you mean, feed+, speed 10, erepair, EffV UnbIII, a big pumpkin farm, a macro to sell your pumpkins once every so often, and a computer that can handle the lag from the pumpkins and breaking them so fast in quick succession?

    I only use an eff5 unb3 and speed 2 pots, and my computer usually lags while pumpkin farming, sometimes even at 2 chunk render distance.

    You can still easily make around 10k per hour if you do it right with speed pots. If you can't, you simply suck at pumpkin farming.

    Yes, which is why we shouldn't raise the pumpkin prices. As i've said, farming is very inflationary, and you can make a lot of money from it with little effort.

    I think 50 cents would be a good price because as effortless as it may seem, farming pumpkins does require a fairly pricey tool as well as the purchasing of e-reps and food. Raising it another 10 cents won't hurt the economy too bad.

    Allowing people to make 18k per an hour won't hurt the economy that bad...?

    UnitedStates everyone doesn't have speed 10, feed+, a beast of a computer, e-reps, and a macro that auto-sells pumpkins. Your reasoning is awful. Go take your attitude elsewhere.

    EDIT: When I mined pumpkins at 60 cents I made nothing close to 20k an hour. Only under perfect circumstances can this even be accomplished.

    Lol, my reasoning isn't awful at all. You can easily do it with speed 2 pots. Now I'm gonna quote a post by @kukelekuuk00 from similar thread to prove my point;
    Hell, if I do it right with speed 2 pots II can make as much as a melon sword does. As the post above said, you can farm 9-10 pumpkins per a second with a speed 2 pot. Let's do the math. 10 x 60(sec) = 600 pumpkins per a minute. 600 x 60 (min) = 36,000 pumpkins per an hour. That's right I have the potential to make 14.4k per an hour. Now what about time spent on food and other stuff? I'll just drop that amount to 10k per an hour. You're making as much as an melon sword for a tool you paid 10k for.

    I made nearly all of my current money and assets pumpkin farming. Clearly all it takes is hard work and dedication within yourself to make pumpkin farming worthwhile, why fix something that isn't broke?
