You mean like a free-for-all raiding world?

 

There already is the 2 main worlds. How large would the new world be? The more worlds, and the larger the world, the more the server will lag.

 

+1. ever since the new arena's came along, no one has pvped in them. I need something to re-ignite my interest for the server.

LOL no one ventures into pvp now days. arena 1 is where all the nubs go to and there are like 10 exits 10 blocks away from each other?

 

I think this could work. Also, I see a lot of builders asking for factions. This would be *almost* like a faction, but players would still have a protected place to live, build, and not risk items.

 

Go to the Nether?

 

The nether would be difficult, and isn't the same. In order to get what's described here, it would have to be natural biomes. As @sitomo said, it would be like the old Mining world, where PVP was enabled.

In this world, you and a team would build a base. This base would be unprotected, and not have lwcs, the goal of the base would to design it to be impenetrable, to be able to protect your items.

However, there's one flaw I see. This is people not being able to keep their items in the bases because it's safer to keep them at your home in the main world. Probably what would happen is that you couldn't carry over items from the worlds, other than nether stars. You could use nether stars to purchase enchanted items for PvP battles. This store would be at the worlds spawn.

 

Because of the safety that the main worlds provide, there would be absolutely no attraction to building in this sort of world. I imagine that once the novelty of it (should it be implemented) wore off, this world would never be used.

It may be interesting to explore the idea of a pvp-enabled world that gave economical advantages, so linked back to ECC. Perhaps double the exp from mining in it etc. Of course this would have to be balance out, but it could lead to interesting gameplay where people would hunt those trying to make use of economic advantages in the world. More risk = more reward type thing.
