This isn't something andrew can implement. You would probably need to suggest it on XenForo's community forum.
I'm pretty sure this can be implemented, by the devs. That is, if the community wants this little thing changed.
core features of Xenforo can be overriden. I've written Xenforo add-ons, I would know. Anyway, my first post in this thread explains the problem with this. It's a very complicated problem and it's simply not worth it to change.
