Minecraft Name: Riku1301 Suggestion: Reduce Nether size from 5000x5000 to 3000x3000 Reason: Surplus of quarts (After a month a ton is still left) No danger in the nether (to big to find anyone) Surplus of Blaze spawners Any Other Information: It's unreasonably big for the amount of use it gets. Link To This Plugin: N/A
+1 Also enable xp in this world and disable it in Mining World, Makes its hard to get xp, and lots of people will not like that. But will increase market for it, Increase the amount of people using the nether Will increase players who enjoy pvp wandering the nether.
+1 If you really don't want to be attacked or die in the nether, that can be solved using donation features. The nether gives a surplus of exp and quartz with near no risk. If you don't want risk you can get fly+, investigator, and pyro+, but not many people have those features so it would balance out.
-1. The last thing I want is contact in the nether or it being mined out/ out of spawners. Must stay big or it will make life harder.
TLDR: ECC'ers are a bunch of pansy's who need to recognize that risks are an essential part of a hardcore economy I'm seriously disappointed at how many people have disproved of this suggestion so quickly because it could be an inconvenience to them, note I've made similar suggestions in the past and seen this too. I get most people want to avoid PvP it's not something they want to put more effort into to, at the very least, be able to survive it. This idea though is completely ridiculous, if you want to have a good economy there must be a challenge, (gonna pull out the cheesy quotes here) Nothing worth having was ever achieved without effort. For the most part ECC has done this, Eff 7's, melon swords are all decently hard to get with current money making methods. On another note though ECC misses out on a very large opportunity to diversify these methods, and of course I'm talking about PvP(Risks). I'm gonna call most of ECC out and say they play it safe (which is not always a bad thing), and at times can be pretty big pansy's, people see PvP as a risk and don't think twice about it. I hate to break it to people but the best way to improve our economy is with risks (PvP), most people aren't scared of lava or drowning, most people aren't scared their tool will break, even sg has no risk aside from killing some of your time. Anyway, that's all I have to say at this point, and hopefully I don't need to explain why a risk or a limited supply adds value to something but if the need comes up I'll get on that.
I'd vote for anything that makes the nether more dangerous... I remember the times when I was a new [Survivor], I thought there was a PvPer behind every corner. This was a part of the nether's fun IMO, the uncertainity. After finding out that the nether is pretty much dead, it was a lot less fun. :/ +314. Also, +314 to the post that suggests xp enabling. Would probably bring more players into the nether.
Remove xp from main and enable in nether seems good as well as making nether smaller. Only issue is will probably have to record myself in ether, lot of bans for fly killing I bet
+1. My reasons are ditto to the ones have been stated. Plus, if people don't like the PvP aspect...they pretty much agreed to the risks in their survivor application in that they have read the rules (which openly state Nether is PvP and the server isn't going to refund items lost to PvP). So...yea. Would it be possible to explain why? I think it would benefit the suggestion and riku's points if negatve feedback is given.
Really, I don't think the problem is the size of the nether, I think it's the lack of users. Maybe hold off on this until the hub is opened and see what happens.
