    Remove "Factions" tag from Vote 2

    Suggestion:
    I suggest that EcoCityCraft's "Factions" tag on Minecraft-Server-List.com be removed from the list of tags.
    Reason:
    The idea of having a "Factions" tag on a voting website, and luring potential users in only to tell them that there are no factions is just not right. People who dislike factions may also falsely turn away from EcoCityCraft without knowing that we do not, in fact, have factions. Both of these cases can be avoided if we just change a simple tag.
    Other Information:
    I noticed a user today at spawn, who was looking for Factions. After I told them that there were none, they felt as though they were scammed into joining this server because there were no factions, which were promised on the voting site.

    honestly it really made me mad seeing as it said it was factions and I originally logged on to play factions only to find out that it wasn't. To make it even more unpleasant, I was told a piece of crap reason as to way by staff. (they said it was because of the mcmmo parties. but that's not factions so...)

    It's not just that they're outdated- I've never seen factions on ECC, and haven't ever heard of them existing here in the past. That makes me wonder why the tag exists in the first place, as it's never been completely true. Our mcMMO parties are, simply put, not factions, and are not that close to being factions either.

    I assume it's to lure people in wanting to do factions, but it's also bad for people like me who don't play factions anymore (pay to win on any server), so it would send away people that don't like factions

    That makes sense. But we shouldn't flat out lie on our voting page. We should emphasize all of the good things about ECC instead, as they're pretty nice, I would say!

    I don't really think this is needed. There's no official definition of "factions" and I could easily argue that ECC has somewhat a factions server; There's many factions-like features on here such as towns and mcmmo parties. I don't really see how players "feel ripped off" as nothing is forcing them to join and they have the right to log off of the server any second. After all, ECCs "factions" tag does attract more players, doesn't it? Maybe those players looking for factions might like ECC even more than those typical "factions servers".

    If someone is looking for factions, they arent going to play on economy. Even with McMMO parties, etc.

    If they see "factions" the first thing that comes to mind is making a base and destroying and stealing other people's bases. We don't want to encourage griefing and stealing because we are not a factions server
