Nstars are part of the economy and taking them away would be like taking away money. I don't see the nstar market as corrupt, I see it as a very important part of ECC's economy. Just because prices rise and fall doesn't make it corrupt. In a real economy, things will go rise and fall in price as supply and demand rises and falls. It's one of the few things you can sell that doesn't have a "set" price which makes it important to our beloved hardcore economy.

Also, we've had nstars for a very long time and taking them away would cause more trouble then it would ever possibly help.

 

-1 and no one sells nstars to the server for $150. They sell it for around 400 at the market

 

@Jacob43365 its worth $150 to the server. When u do /spawn, it says you can sell stars to the server for $150

 

+1 Though I suggest making star tools buyable within spawn for ecd at a raised price.

 

I think would be to difficult to do, they screwed up to much in adding them, would be hard to remove

 

You can't just remove something this incorporated in the economy without major repercussions. It's not a feasible change any more.

 

Like kuke said above, you cannot remove a major part of the economy without major repercussions. In an economy, especially a small one like this, everything is connected with each other either directly or indirectly. I do not have enough knowledge about this topic to tell you the specifics, but it'll take no genius to tell you that removing one of the most important markets on the server would not be good. It would be like removing the automobile market in the real world. It would affect so many things in some way.

Edit: I've had some time to think about some specifics and here are a few.

Removing nstars will lower the amount of star tools meaning:
1. All prices of ores will go up
2. Exp will go up
3. Melon farms will be worth less

We cannot make big changes like this because we risk some very major events happening in out economy. The events listed above are a very small amount of things that will happen and these things will cause other markets to change.

 

the thing is netherstars are not ruining the server its other things. so -1

 

Removing nstars is like removing sg.
