While I agree disarmed is OP, if it was removed people would be mad. I think Andrew just needs to lower the disarm chance so people have to train harder. Or make the max chance very low so disarm isnt the main reason to train unarmed.

 

The problem is that even a %0.01 chance would be too much. Don't believe me? Well think about this.
1 in 1000 hits on someone is a disarm, right? You probably hit someone 10 times before running, right? You do that 100 times and you have yourself a sword. Why is this a big deal? Because people will do what they are doing already - running in, hitting the person a few times, running out, repeat. Any chance at all and people will do this, because eventually, it will pay off.
I also know for a fact that with the kind of horrible luck I get, I'd get disarmed anyway. In fact, one in a hundred battles I'd get disarmed. Even that is too high for me to even consider pulling a sharp V sword out, especially after 1.3 made them impossible to get. It's not just the disarming that ruins PvP when it happens, it's the kind of thing it does to the way people think when they PvP - just being there at a very low chance indirectly effects the way people play, even if it's not used or hardly happens.

Remove disarm, Pvp is not fun with your swords being taken

 

I got disarmed twice yesterday on my sharp4 fire2 and i had to slip back 8k in 5 mins
