Thread Title: I wish to remove the Original town owner from the town app Minecraft Name: THCOOL ...... original town owner (Daveed888) Suggestion: I am suggesting that you remove him (the original town owner) so I can claim the town of Skyscrapervalley and finally remove all his locks and begin building on it. Reason: So Daveed888 is the original owner of Skyscrapervalley as it was his mayor app town. The town was later sold to a friend of mine Solstice18 who then gave me authority and mayor of the town. The issue is that Daveed888 has left a good amount of trade signs and locks spread across the town. Before he was banned we tried getting him to remove these but lets just say Daveed888 wasn't the nicest player on ecocitycraft (probably why he was banned). Anyway so for almost a year now I have been trying to remove these locks but cannot because Daveed888 is the original town owner. Daveed888 has been inactive for longer than i can remember and has been banned for several months now. Because of this issue we were forced to build a flat 200x200 town above all the locks about 123 blocks high. However this causes many issues and I wish to utilize the whole town and not have to be limited to only that just because of locks that cannot be removed. Other Information: Original owner has been offline/banned for several months at least. longer than I can remember. Link to this plugin: No plugin needed. At least I don't think so lol
A way to solve this problem is already implemented with the tycoon+ claim system. Full information on it can be found here. While I cannot speak officially, I would suspect it to be very unlikely that they would change away from the implemented system as this case is a textbook case of how it is supposed to be used.
Ok I have taken a quick look at the link you just sent. However couldn't I just get a friend who happens to be a Tycoon+ rank to claim the town then just let me mayor it?
A friend of mine suggested that I could buy a town claim?? is this true? perhaps from another player? I am not really sure
If you have a friend with a Tycoon+ town claim available, you can make a deal with them. However, they will be the new original owner, not you. It is safest to get Tycoon+ yourself, but you are allowed to make a deal with a friend if you need to/want to remove a prior original owner/make town apps/etc through them.
If you get a friend to claim it or if you claim it yourself, then his locks will be able to be removed. Sent from my LG-VM701 using Tapatalk 2
As GeneralJoeCool and MoofinK said, there is two systems already in place. We have town transfers if you have a contract giving you ownership from the original owner and we have town claims. Please utilize one of those. We will not be making an exception as this is one of the reasons why we made the systems in the first place. Denied
