Suggestion/Rant Rant Follows: Well I recently filed a complaint because a user purchased a plot and made a SOLID OBSIDIAN CUBE. The complaint got dismissed but luckily Phys and @Mission001 helped me clean it up. Guess what freaking happens today! ANOTHER LITTLE %&*(#%( BOUGHT A PLOT AND MADE ANOTHER OBSIDIAN TOWER CUBE. ARE PEOPLE THIS MEAN? DOES EVERYONE HAVE TO BE LITTLE $*#$ TROLLS! THIS WILL TAKE COUNTLESS HOURS TO CLEAN UP! IT TOOK LIKE FREAKING 30MINS THE FIRST TIME BUT THAT WAS ONLY BECAUSE PHYS HAD A AMAZING PICK AND FLY. AND THIS USER WHO DID IT THE 2ND TIME ONLY DID IT TO MAKE ME ANGRY AND WASTE MY TIME! TROLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!! ------------------------------------------- Suggestion Time! My suggestion is to make a rule to stop people from doing this. This is just to be trolly, make people mad, and most of all to waste people's time. BTW the user was immediately evicted for breaking many town rules. To me this seems like a pointless build, If we had to make this a rule, staff would need to use their professional instinct to decide what builds are pointless. but this is a hard one...
I would politely ask a staff member to look into this, to see if the IPs of the players matched. This is an extremely unique situation. In addition, unless you explicitly state what is not allowed in a town, they can do what they want. However, you could easily say do not build with obsidian, and your problem is somewhat solved. They are banned from your town forever.
They are banned from the town forever (There is a rule against it) , but the problem is that people keep doing it.
Well people keep building obsidian towers with knowledge that they will get evicted just for the purpose of trolling me. @knears2000 Actually phys was kind enough to roll it back to prevent the work but I am still scared of other people trolling me again.
If you can find evidence that players are doing this with specific intent to get on your nerves, then yeah, that should constitute as a bannable offense. Otherwise, the best you can do is make it a town rule and evict anyone who breaks it.
