Here's my proposal,
We make a couple arenas where kitters cannot use their kits. These arenas will have cash prizes but they won't be quite as good as the regular arenas. People who have donated for a kit will still be able to use it in the regular arenas. That way, the donation will still be worthwhile and people who don't like the kits don't have to play in arenas that have them.

Okay I am sorry now that I think about it, it was rude
chessgeek10 I apologize.-

Now that I think about it this could work. Here is what I suggest. Do above except give all donators a kit with a iron sword and chestplate or something that way detonators have an advantage but everyone else could be equal.

chessgeek10 your thoughts on above?

Actually, that sounds like a great idea.

I see your point and i actually agree with much of what you have to say. Its not easy for a builder looking for a SG server to come here and get established, i totally agree with that. And that is one of the minuses of these kits. But most of the players coming to ECC is here for the Economy and town concept, probably not because it got SG in it. I don't say that players that are here for only playing SG don't exist, but that this isn't enough SG based to keep the SG only players, they usually end up on those bigger and more popular SG servers anyways. -
Not even half of the people who play SG, well lets try to count for the many people whose ONLY reason they no longer try SG is due to the kits. You can load your arguement by trying to say chessgeek10 is overexagerating, however you are trying to underplay the situation yourself.

I agree with you apple, however builders do see SG as a chance to gather 400-1k a game if they win, to put towards getting a start at the server. I know that andrewkm has done a builder bonus, and that has helped, however this can all be lost with one bad fall from a /wild land command that puts you on a tree like nearly each time it does. Then what do they do? just give up? or try to duke it out in an arena to find out that because a player paid irl money that that player becomes in some way undefeatable unless they themselves fork out real cash? I see the best option is to have at least 3 maps where kits aren't applicable. maybe have the payout be 400-2k instead of allowing a huge 4k ECD gain from one game like the current SG does. But that is just from the opinion of me, a player who SG's when he can, solely with the items found in chests. Thank you for reading this, if you took the time.

Doodlecatt BuilderBuilder ⛰️ Ex-Mayor ⚒️⚒️Yeah that's what I suggested.

So you are mentioning the ideas of tiers? if so, i fully agree with the concept of having optional tiers, one kitters only, one nonkitters only, and one of mixed perhaps. This would be a good idea for that empty SG station in the other world :p

Doodlecatt BuilderBuilder ⛰️ Ex-Mayor ⚒️⚒️Yeah, I think that would be a good idea.

says the guy with $251 in donations. easy to say buy kits when you have em :p however you could say it is easy to say its unfair when you dont have kits. im just saying it would be helpful if there was a happy medium as an option.

So why don't you buy kits as well? When will people understand that they can't get everything in this world for free? We have actually worked to get these kits in our possession, and we deserve them.-

Re-read my posts, i didnt say it was unfair, or that it shouldnt be allowed. I said that it is a good idea and concept of a diff style of SG option, to get more people playing. I am a college athlete, ik about "working to get what you deserve". in no way am i saying "shut kits down", i am saying i like the idea of a kitless SG OPTION. as in maybe one map, where players can escape the real world. I will be buying kits in the future, however every donation i do will be through ECD. I am paying for college, not for a better gaming experience. Thank you, and next time read my posts thoroughly before quoting.

Thank you, I am reading your posts and I really hope you will read my posts as well before quoting them in the future. Tell me, why would someone without kits choose a kit using arena if the player had the option of choosing an arena with no kits? And why would someone buy kits when you only can use them against other kit users (something that probably will happen if we make non-kit arenas) ?
But I'm not really worried about it. This have been suggested many times, and i don't see why Andrew would change his mind after reading this. He have denied it so many times that he have actually stopped denying them :p
Alright! Thank you for the discussion guys! Im at least going to stop spending time on this debate. -

Well I was against it for a while... But I took out a loan and bought a kit... Don't regret in the least bit.... Grow up and get some kits. It will change your life forever

Doodlecatt BuilderBuilder ⛰️ Ex-Mayor ⚒️⚒️If you read my post at the top of this page I proposed that we have the kit arenas and a couple non kit arenas. The kit arenas would have better cash prizes so I'm sure people would still play on them.
-
pretty simple, u could make 2k more per game in kitenabled arenas. Ppl would try to win bigger prizes if they wish. Idk how a guy of you "economic status" cant see the difference of why ppl would still try to go against kitters if they think they can.
-
I am also now done with this discussion, unless something ignorant is said and I get swept back in. +1 to the tier concept and +1 to the kitters who buy donations with ECD.
