Minecraft Name: ModernPerils Suggestion: I suggest that you can buy shop credits on the ECC shop. Once you have bought enough credits, you can use them to buy a feature. Reason: Many users who donate to the server use prepaid credit cards. If the card is $25 and they buy a $20 feature, they have $5 left on the card that they cannot spend. If people could buy credits, they could use the leftover $5 to buy credits so no money is wasted. It would be extremely helpful and could allow people to donate more to the server within their planned spending margin. If you could buy credits and accumulate them, there would be more convenience in buying, less money wasted, and more features purchased. Other Information: The reason I am posting this is for this exact reason. I have a pre-paid credit card with excess money on it and have another one that will have excess money on it once I buy another feature. Please consider this and take into account the users that use prepaid and have excess unusable money on the cards. Thank you!
If you're suggesting Gift Cards, these have been discussed in the past and will be implemented whenever andrew/buycraft comes around to it.
Even if purchasable gift credits are added, it is extremely unlikely that we'll see a $5 one. There's a reason there are no $5 features; they are too cost prohibitive on Andrew's end of things.
Yes. I believe it to be a creative Idea, one that I would like to see made happen. The creative rating is used to show that you believe someone's post to be creative, not just funny.
I'm not the on to judge, but that statement is absurd. We had coupons for the past 2 1/2 years. This is one of the least creative suggestions I have seen in a while. I guess you have your on opinion. As for the suggestion, I don't believe it is possible.
Right now this isn't possible. Andrew suggested it to Buycraft, but it is up to them if they want to make something like this or not. The amount left over would not matter if it is done as a wallet system. That means you can add money to your Buycraft/shop wallet much like how Steam has their own "wallet." Anything you have in your wallet goes towards your purchase, and you can still use a prepaid card, paypal, or credit/debit card.
There is another server I used to play on that had this however here is how it worked. User buys x credits. When credits are bought it goes into a credit balance much like the ecd balance. User then buys donation from credit store either online or in game. However even though possible -1 it complicates things. Plan on what you're going to buy, get a card accordingly.
