Suggestion: Do what? Hyper buff sg enchanting item drops. Increase chance of both lapis and exp bottle spawning, and increase amount of exp bottles in a single 'spawn' of items to 5 from 2. Why? Makes the center something to contest, and you know, makes enchanting actually able to happen. Current spawn rates are so abysmal that it basically NEVER happens. The reason I want it buffed so high is so that its always something to worry about. Currently, even if you get hyper lucky with chests, you are probably still only getting an unbreaking 1 sword based on the current enchant system. which you know, literally doesn't help. Heck, maybe even buff the exp bottle to 10 per 'spawn' to really get things going. Pros Enchanting can actually happen ever Enchanting is actually a viable strategy rather than a waste of time Increases user-user meet ups, rather than everyone off in corners of map all the time (Everyone going to enchant items at spawn) Makes kit free SG's a lot more varied Actually theoretically allows a true enchant farmer who does well to realistically compete with kitters later in the game, although kits retain their huge advantage at the start Makes the game overall more interesting to actually add the dynamic we intended to. Cons Maybe annoy kit users when people actually have a chance even in kit games, even if its STILL a really low chance cause enchants aren't going to beat bfr? maybe people complaining about bad enchants? That's about it really ^ Summary, TL;DR Hyper buff enchanting so that its actually viable, and in the process make SG way more fun in general for pretty much all users, even kitters who are in drawn out kit games.
I like the concept of this. Maybe not to the extreme you suggest, but something like 3x the current lapis spawn rate and 2x the current exp bottle spawn rate.
Exp bottle and lapis definitely need a higher spawn rate. I've only been able to enchant around 3-4 times. +1
Perhaps a higher spawn rate would be nice but not too high of one so that enchanted items are too easy to find, making kits obsolete. Fractions of percents to 1-2% should be enough?
Even if we made enchant spawns ludicrously high, like literally to the point of infinity, they STILL would not adequately compete with kits unless they took a LONG time of enchanting, which leaves them very vulnerable. the point is to have a very high rate of spawn, because its not a get item win game system. its a get item, then fight for your right to USE the item, (i.e. get to center and enchant without dying), then if RNGesus is with you win game. honestly an insane spawn rate would be very healthy in my opinion for SG overall
