SG is made to integrate with the economy and revolves around getting money. Adding some kind of sg specific item would be somewhat counter productive.

Hmmm, not a bad idea and it seems very plausible to be able to create a plugin like this but i don't think it would be able to be a tradeable currency like nstars.

Other than that i think its a pretty good idea

In thought, you would think something like this would make sense, however here is why it wouldn't.

-If it gave Nstars, Nstars would become worthless because each game would give out nstars, and people would then stop voting causing the server to not get as many votes.

-If it gave power ups, it would then cause people not to buy kits if they can get power ups free without having to buy kits.

-if we did add this plug-in, it would involve implementing a new currency, which would be nearly impossible to relate to ECD in value, which could cause problems.

Again, the idea is a good one in thought, but in actual implementation it simply does not over weigh the negatives.

That is a great idea! All in all, it sounds like a good plan. But, I think there is one thing that could be added. Each gem should be worth a certain amount of EcoDollars. Therefor, when people gain gems, they can use them for other things, outside of Survival Games! I also like the idea of how you can use the gems to buy power-ups! Overall, it seems like a nice implement to Eco City Craft. +1

I don't like this idea, it would ruin the need for kits. Also I think that if it gave anything else out that would decrease in value greatly.

-1 I mostly play SG for money and sometimes for points, I would not want to see gems because kits ready cover this:
Health potion-buffer
Wood sword- any wood sword kit
+1 attack- buffer
Leather armor- perfect fir or elemental punch

It's fine how it is and especially if you can trade gems in for money this could be abused quite a bit.

 

Everying David said, plus;

• There could be easy exploits on to how duplicate these emeralds (I assume that by gems you can emeralds??)
• Could bring them out of SG and cause the emerald market to crash

 

What are you suggesting? New currency or sg "gems"?
Either way -1.
Money is a real currency, and it is fine the way it is. It would be waaay too much work to change the currency.
And most people play sg for money, so if we added "gems" most people would stop playing.

 

I would completely stop playing sg if this happened. I like money for my wins thank you very much.
