I saw a thread where you posted that, and that makes a lot of sense. What happened, in my opinion, is that the staff were ambitious with the kits and dismissed the potential downside. There were some who were opposed (myself, for example), but as time went on, powerful kits were introduced, and the windfall from kits such as spy and buffer helped ECC through an economic rough patch. However, this overpowered kit users and it would be hard to reverse the changes. Basically, staff needed money, but added too many kits and as a result the sgs are as they are today. Cutting down on kits to the level Fury discussed could work well for the time being.

 

After reading through, these are my opinions.

By definition, that is not communism. I won't even explain, a simple google search of the definition proves my point. So, don't compare it please, as it's not.

1/4th of the cash winnings, or none at all, will be critical in this system for it to work. If you have cash winnings, you might as well say that buying kits "unlocks" the other arenas (as it makes it easier to get higher pay). This was an issue that arose in a different thread, and is one which is hotly debated (if I find it again I will link it).

But, if there is a happy medium that can be established by the players for whether or not an arena should be made, then winnings could be a trial and error work until it happens. Don't know until we try, right?

But, for the sake of the suggestion, +1. I would enjoy a no-kit arena.
