Kits are made to give the donators an advantage. They paid for them, they helped support the server, they're one of the main reasons, there is still a server. What have non-kitters done but complain? This has been suggested and bickered and whined over dozens of times. Grow up plz.

The only time I could agree with a no kit SG Lobby is if you made 0 Cash off of it. If you don't want to deal with the people who financially support this server and just want a fun game, then there is no reason to win cash or earn points. We currently have a 1/8th chance arena system set up which gives MORE money in no kit games. Why? Because you don't get to pick that. Its simply random and it could happen to any match at any time.

KHobbits currently has a thread up to discuss the nerfing of Buffer. That being said, overall, I don't see kits getting nerfed nearly enough to make everyone happy. After all, how do you keep everyone happy? You have one side where if you nerf to hard they'll get upset. And then you have another side of the argument that doesn't believe there is a 'too hard'. So, the administration has been trying to find small ways to nerf things without causing giant problems.

Basically, we have taken steps towards a bit fairer of games and probably will take more. Lets see what the future holds.

 

it's great that people donate to the server but for people who want to have SG games without getting swamped by donator kits they should get to possibly vote for example how /sg vote speeds up stuff there could be a vote for kits or no kits.

 

I think the 1/8 chance of having a no kit game suggestion is doing great so far, I'm just still wondering if there's a command that can tell you if the map is kit enabled or not. But just like Steve and few others mentioned in this thread...people pay for these kits only to have an advantage at killing someone without kits, but we all know that they are most likely the ones to lose against a newcomer in a no-kit arena. :)

Do I use real life cash... NO!!! I actually work for my money ingame to get kits and other features instead of crying b/c u won't work to be able to get these features!!

 

I'm not a "millionaire" yet I am a VIP+ in game. I get all my donations through EcoDollars. You can easily save EcoDollars and buy an SG kit.

GOD stop it. Kits can get less op but no new lobby will be created probably.
