Minecraft Name: FuryFudge Suggestion: We should have another SG tournament from December 19-26th (from Friday-Friday EST) Reason: I think it's time we had another SG tournament and according to some reasearch a lot of the Southern Hemisphere starts their summer holidays a few days before that. Also it could be called a Christmas SG Tournament because it finishes on Boxing Day. And beginning on the 19th means that if you have to go somewhere for Christmas you can still participate. It should also be NO-KITS or if by popular vote, only Buffer should be disabled. Other Information: It would be nice for those from a different Timezone to have a tournament that they can participate in because usually these people would be at school. Also I know that Buffer is supposed to give an "advantage" because people paid money for it, but would it hurt if we just disabled it for a week (or whatever period of time) and have a tournament of skill? No kits please. EDIT: Rethought this a bit. See my post below. However, a weeklong tourney? That's a long time. I think it should be at the very most 2-4 days. Disregarding those two, +1.
Okay... kits actually takes skill because everyone has the same thing. No kits requires just a lucky chest and the ability to click your mouse n swing. so much skill
Actually, thinking about this a bit more…. I think that only Buffer should not be allowed. All other kits, when standing alone, aren't too overpowering. That way, the best of both worlds can be implemented; no one shot kills, yet some skill required. Still agree though for a reduction in the timeframe.
Well the gear is a huge factor, but it also depends on how good you are at PVP. If you have full iron but you suck at PVP you can be beaten easily by someone who is amazing at it. Plus you have to know where chests are to loot them. Knowing where chests are is a kind of skill
I agree, but kits, aside from buffer, aren't too much of an issue. Hence why the SG World Cup was called the Buffer Cup, not the kit cup.
