Minecraft Name: Iticip
Suggestion: Take WorldGaurd off of SG
Reason: So the other day, while we were going under a long downtime, I went on an SG server. However, this SG server was very different then ours. You started with a random kit, and had to go gather your own materials. The smartest thing to do was break some trees, make a wood pick, and then break some stone/ores for a furnace/iron armor (They didn't have diamond) I think this would be an amazing idea to have in our SG arenas, and would require little changing of the maps. The only thing needed would be to add a few coal/iron/gold ores where patches of stone are (For example, in SG 2, by the aether rocket).
It wouldn't be a nerf of SG kits in any way, but it allows players with no kits to get more items, and have a better chance at more kill in SG. It makes the game much much more entertaining, and I'd really like to see this added.
Any Other Information: If revan/Kh/Stolio wants to know what server this is to test it out, send me a forum PM or ask someone to msg me on skype.

Edit: Placing blocks is no longer an option. There would be furnaces placed around the maps, and you would fuel them with coal if you found it yourself. Mining in an SG is now a very high risk-high reward because it's very easy to find someone mining if you can get the entrance into their tunnel. Digging under ground is no longer a safe zone.

I feel like I remember SG having breakable blocks in the past...I would be ok with this, but only to a degree. Maybe only allow crops and woods to be broken, I don't see a point in stones as this isn't the mining world and people shouldn't be digging to bedrock looking for things this is ECC Sg.

+1, and have a limit on the number of block you are able to break in the whole game. like 16 blocks, aka a few wood, few stone, iron ore (sword and some armor) and thats all.

I would really like this idea but a few things
1. Will this make the reset longer?
2. Will this lag the server during the reset?
3. Can the player place blocks again?
But if these problems aren't present then I like this idea alot. -
I think that is more of a hardcore hunger games... it does sound cool but we couldn't use the maps we have now.
I would suggest if this were to be implemented that it would be a completely separate to sg.
Good suggestion Iti :) -
I don't think that will cause any major issue. The arena file is already saved, and it just needs to be re-opened like the current system. As for players placing blocks, I'd say yes to this. I don't really see a reason for them to, however, other than for crafting tables and furnaces.

It wouldn't really be mining in the sense of taking things out of the SG world. But it allows for player traps, and self-gathered items. It adds a new dynamic to the "survival" experience.
With regards to this, I honestly don't know what would/wouldn't happen. -

Is there any real reason it's there in the first place?

The problem is if a player has already broken max blocks the other person could make a structure and ago until the other player leaves so -1 to playing blocks

So on sg 4 u could block urself into the hallway. If the person has broken ur suggested max block limit they can just ask there w/o the other person being able to get to u

I guess people could place blocks too , so people could abuse this to get into areas they aren't supported too and hide the whole game up in the sky.
