Minecraft Name: UnitedStates2002 Suggestion: Add a cool down to shouts. Reason: Alright, there's currently a pretty big debate going on about shout spam. While, making shout spam illegal might discourage people from shouting, and having an option to ignore shouts might stop people from shouting altogether, adding a cool down to shouts might be a solution. If we add a cool down on shouts, this will stop constant shout spam while not discouraging people from making shouts. Any Other Information: Nope. -1 why does everyone hate shouts do much? Eventually the people who do shout will run out of money to shout so they will have to earn some money. That's a cooldown enough IMO.
Well, excessive intrusive shout spam is about as illegal as it is with lottery tickets. We can warn for it. It rarely happens anyway. So adding a cooldown won't change a thing. The problem I have with shouts is the fact that it completely bypasses the /ignore list. It should adhere to that list.
I think that adding a cooldown is detrimental to the economy because it would lower the money spent and it would cause inflation
