I think before this could be considered, it would need to be thoroughly tested for its possible economic effects. After that though, if it isn't damaging, I don't see an issue.

 

Even with a max rod fishing barely makes anything, so...

It won't affect the economy that much :p

I do like this suggestion, and I also do agree that we should test before we apply this, to check economic influence.

But the thing is.. I don't really see that test result can be bad showing bad influence unless speed of earning money through fishing is faster than farming melons. As long as average money earning speed is much slower than melon farming, I see no problem for applying this.

 

Seems like a nice addition, but things would need to be worked out, for example profit, does it work, etc.

I just thought of this, then saw the suggestion sadly - as I wanted to make it lol. I think lure 7 and luck 7 would be good - if you ask me.
