As you all know the star rod is considered the junk tool out of the set because it makes the least amount of money per hour however it's worth 1500 nstars. What I am suggesting is raising the price of fish by 10. Therefore regular fish would be 20 Salmon 25 and pufferfish 30 I think this would finally alow the star rod the respect it deserves
Well Matrix the only problem with that is that everyone would start getting more money from fishing not just the people with star rods. I think they should make it that the star rod attracts more fish quicker soo that is more money that you make a hour.
In terms of this suggestion, I think fish should be raised $5 each to balance it out more with other methods of making money.
I think this needs to be implemented. Fishing is one of the hardest skills to level therefore most people don't have over 1000 fishing let alone 2000 fishing (i bet you could count 2000 fishers on 1 hand). Because it is so hard to level you don't get a significant amount of exp/fish and the treasure you get is literally worth close to 0. therefore i will be excluding it in this test. I fished for 1 hour using my starrrod and made around 9.5k with exp at 650/set (i believe to be about average at the time of this post). I'm not sure a straight +10$ /fish is necessarily the right answer but i do believe i may have a possibility as well. If you increased each fish price by 33% (round down if needed i.e. a regular fish would be worth $13) This would put the starrod on par with other startools costing massive amounts to attain. At the moment a starrod makes a comparable amount to a good pumpkin farmer or a smart eff5for3unb3 miner. This is unacceptable. Most people who do not support this idea argue that "fishing should not be raised as it is lazy and literally spawning money into the economy" while this is true what form of making money doesn't spawn money into the economy? MIning could be argued that there are a finite amount of minerals but the moment that they start to run out, we reset mining world, spawning money into the economy. With farming, plants regrow in like half an hour so that is just as bad as fishing in terms of spawning money frequently. So if every source of money making can make a nice clip while still doing it with relative ease, why can't fishing?
Minimal effort is needed in order to make this money. No increase should be added to this tool. -1 I really wish that was possible, because that needs to happen.
I agree that fish prices should be raised - but my first choice would be to see the "crappy" treasure disappear again. It would make fishing much more enjoyable to me since when I fish, I want to catch fish.
That's the point I'm trying to get at. Minimal effort is needed to do this. By raising the price, adding more money to the economy will cause inflation. It's not a good idea. How is that relevant?
