+1 most certainly, I hate waiting and this would certainly save the staff a lot of work.

However will they be able to unlock threads of thiers also? If so then something needs to be done so they can unlock threads they have locked but not a thread staff has locked.

That would be a problem. Maybe make it so that you can lock it after its been up for 15-30 minutes to prevent spam locks.

 

Or you have to wait 15-30 mins. You don't wanna have a thread open for a week and be like "yo dawg i need to lock dis up!" but you can't. I think you must wait a certain time before locking.

 

That's what I was saying. Not a delay where you click lock and you have to wait, but I mean like you create the topic, but the lock check or button or whatever it is be locked (lockception?) until the 15-30 minutes has passed, and then you can lock it when you please.
