Recently, I was scrolling through the applications because I wanted to change the flags in some of my towns. I was surprised to find, though, that there is only one flag left that you can apply for: Use. For users such as myself, who have towns in traditionally 'wintery' biomes, it means that we cannot get the flag to toggle ice-forming. From my memory, we used to have the following flags. I would like them to return, once again!: Ice-Form Ice-Melt Leaf-Decay Greeting Grass-Growth Farewell Returning all of these flags (perhaps at various prices for flags such as Greeting/Farewell) would help mayors+ a lot with their towns.
Greeting and farewell are a no-go, they're major lag causers when you have this many regions and this many players. The other ones I agree with.
If you were to charge enough money for them(like $100,000), wouldn't it offset the damage caused by the lag? Put a price so high only it that only either the crazy or the fabulously wealthy would purchase it.

No, because no matter how many people buy it, the lag is always the same. Andrew disabled that thing COMPLETELY to prevent lag.
I really do want flags back. But I'd like to see a snow-fall flag, too. It shouldn't cause much lag - if any, from my understanding - on the server's end. Off by default, on for a high (?) price; off again for the same or lower fee. My only guess is that some weird weather setting as a whole will be in the way. (I still don't understand why people hated weather so much.)
I personally hate rain and snow I would be interested in having these flags, although I was not on ECC when they were on.
I feel that we should have server wide rain and snow. It would make the server a lot more realistic. I personally hate it, but I would like to make the server more realistic. The rain doesn't need to effect the entire server, but it can be similar to real life.
I'm not a fan of rain at all... It makes it hard to see, and usually looks hideous on any texture pack, lol. However, snow can be okay, is silent, and... Well, I mostly want snow for realistic snow coverage. :/ Would love to have a snowy town. Great atmosphere and more "Minecraft" realistic. If I don't want to see them, I'll turn 'em off (once OptiFine updates and Mojang adds more video settings, lol).
So I assume these flags are an application feature and you are ablet o turn certain features on in your town? This seems quite cool and I would love to see these!
