I don't know much about GriefProtection (Only WorldGuard , but true. WG is simply adequate for ECC since it allows many possibilities like flags and other features.

Vintage_Gamer BuilderBuilder ⛰️ Ex-President ⚒️⚒️ Premium UpgradeYea, But back to my original point. Some users probably don't know enough about WorldGuard to actually carry out the tasks needed in this suggestion.

Correct. We'd need to look at it from a new builder's point of view: I don't think many new players already have experience with WG, so they would be given a wooden axe. They would have no idea what to do, they would wonder why they don't have access to their plot although they were told it ould work. Then they would need to ask the mayor and understand his explanation. I can imagine that a few players would give up on that...
By the way, isn't it wonderful how many posts we made here in the last hour? :D -
Vintage_Gamer BuilderBuilder ⛰️ Ex-President ⚒️⚒️ Premium UpgradeBasically... the idea to allow users to have access to WG is silly. :p

Sounds like a can of worms to me. Allows more opportunities for trolling, miscommunication, scams, etc. And knowing how customized ECC's plugins are, who knows if it would cause random lag when a lot of players are changing that stuff... lol.
EDIT: Also, as I have always said, I like the chance of losing things (being griefed in this case). It's a "hard core economy," after all. Grief gives a chance to allow more movement of goods and markets, if there are no rollbacks.
EDIT 2: And... It sorts out the troublemakers.-
