The tag of that color should be reserved for main developers. Personally I don't see a need to add a tag above the $2k mark.
Absolutely agreed on this part. As for the rest of the suggestion, I think we could have it, but I wouldn't even consider it until we have at least $4,000 or $5,000 in donations available to users.
Colors make chat even messier - Chat is already messy enough with colored nicknames, tags and such. As I've said above, I really don't see the need for chat to get any messier.
Not everyone has donated 3000 so I don't think it will be messier until everyone gets to donate $3000 USD and I can tell you it's pretty hard to do all that donations.
It still adds messiness to chat as chat as users will have many different colors in their usernames/nicknames, tags and such. I really don't see the need to have a tag go over $2,000 anyway.
