I think they were removed because the server wasn't getting enough views on those sites to justify the lease costs. If you could prove that re-adding these sites would financially benefit the server, then I'm sure staff would be behind it

 

+1 Vote 4 helped, but a Vote 5 and 6 would bring ECC way up in player numbers

 

This was suggested before, pretty sure it fell into the suggestion void. Anyway, +1, as this should help as much as Vote 4 did if not more so.

You pay for a premium account which is pretty much the only way to ensure views on the sites (keep in mind these sites have hundreds of other servers registered which are all receiving votes as well). And how would you know what Andrew's bank statement looks like? I don't think you understand how e-commerce works lol.

 

You know what ECC really needs:

For every one of those people, there's another two who will find ECC and play like there's no tomorrow.

 

Thank you for restating my point? PMC and Minecraft MP have massive competition among other listed servers, leasing a premium account is a necessity if you want any attention from prospective players, just voting won't cut it in the big leagues. The reason we don't use those sites anymore is because we were paying for that premium membership and still not getting enough benefit to justify the fact.

So again, unless you can prove that it'll work out better, I doubt there'll be any change.

 

The reason was because people managed to exploit and vote multiple times in a row, not some stupid reason like what you're saying. (which makes no sense, considering all the voting sites work according to an auction system. They auction off the top 5 slots and the highest bidder wins. No weird 'premium account' nonsense. At most some of them have just ordinary advertising spots, like TopG. )

 

This may be a matter of opinion, but I don't really consider basic fundamentals of e-commerce to be "stupid", and if you were to explore the sites listed, you would know that premium account options do exist and are key for the management of the sites. It's a business, not a charity. Besides, what do you think these sites auction with, lollipops?

They auction with money, obviously. Was that not clear based on what I said? They auction spots off, there's no "premium account" simply an auction. Some sites may call it "premium" but it's nothing more than an auction.
PMC doesn't even have a premium option.
and Minecraft-MP has an auction.
