It could also be the same vote amount, just randomized to decide who gets first, second, third, etc.

I like the idea though. Maybe have an extremely small chance of one vote counting twice?

If 6 people vote the same amount of times then the first place will be one person randomly chosen from those 6, the 2nd from the remaining 5, the third from the remaining 4, etc.

Ah, I can definitely agree with that, I see the same people win voting over and over and over. This would make it slightly more lucky to get up on the board then just voting every day.

 

Except this voting rewards are to reward those who vote everyday and not those who just get lucky.

 

Having one or two luckies in a month will not get you voting rewards. I can't expect to vote and miss 2-3 days of voting and still make the top list with my 4 luckies I got.

Basically, it will add some luck to those (such as yourself) who vote every day and cause it to be a bit more chance.

 

Some people get around 8 lucky votes per month. If each of those lucky votes counts as an extra vote, they would be 1 day and 2 votes ahead of everyone else.

 

Assuming they voted every single day. So if you vote every single day, and only get 7 lucky votes, and Bob123 votes every day and gets 8 extra votes, it'll add more luck to it.

But Frank123 who votes 28 days in a 31 day month and gets 8 extra votes, it'll do nothing at all.

 

Then there's really absolutely no reason to add it, because only a tiny number of players will get it, and unless they vote every day then it won't make any difference.

 

Exactly, if its that rare, it would be completely uneffective.

 

If its less than that, they would still be pointless. It just gives them 1 extra day of votes.
