Minecraft Name:lapkingkn Suggestion:i think we should get money from voting like if you get *Mega Lucky* it only gives you a few nstars and 5 diamond/emerlad. i think it should be like money or something. Reason:The reason i think we should get money from voting is because then more people will vote, Some of my friends says that voting is boring. I preferred when it was money. It was easier because you didn't have to sell nether stars even if it was cheaper. But thats my opinion
I'm the opposite (admittedly I wasn't around when voting gave money), but I would rather save the stars for a week, or longer, and then sell them in one go. Doing it this way I feel like I get something more substantial from voting as you see a larger lump sum go into your balance, rather than just a little bit each day. Only my personal preference though
This suggestion is something that everyone has a different opinion on since some prefer money over assets/items, but just to add a little twist to it... If the voting system changes as mentioned in the suggestion and people receive money instead of horse eggs, a bunch of nether stars, or etc, it would be generating more money into the economy from the server. It is probably not something andrew would like since there is already plenty of money being generated from individuals selling items to the server. Along with that, if the money received from being "lucky" or such is too small, many people could find voting to be even more boring since they lose the lottery mindset as some may call it where they could get a horse egg along with a bunch of nether stars which are worth a decent bit when sold to other players. Just my own thoughts on this suggestion ^.^
I think it is much better for the economy to have money changing hands between players (nstar sales) instead of money being generated into the economy.
So what happens to the star tools? Nether stars were brought in as a second currency to encourage voting. The fact that the only tangible way to obtain them is through voting encourages users to vote. With money there came a point where I could earn more farming in those 3 minutes than the money I got given. Nether stars and their fluctuation much like exp offers a much more realistic currency. With nether stars you have the choice, save them in their asset form or sell them to do whatever you wish with the money. I prefer nether stars so I will say that I do not like this idea.
