You could always make a powertool to "/Fill water" and then right click..

inb4 "I don't have/want extcommands" -- No point adding a feature that does essentially the same thing another feature already can do. Buy extcommands if you want the functionality.

 

You need to have extcommands, and while holding a bucket, type "/pt fill water". I think you may need water+ to use the fill command however.

 

With extcommands, You have the ability to use powertools. Powertools are basically commands bound to items, for example, I could do "/pt ch qm tr Selling Diamonds!" , a shortcut. For filling water buckets, you can type "/pt Fill water" , Left click to fill, right click to place. Simple.

 

And yes, You would need water+

 

If water++ should have anything it should have it where you don't have water resistance while walking through water. I know fly has that ability, however; sometimes I want to walk on the surface rather than deal with fly (so the efficiency tools work to their full potential). This is just my opinion on Water++ feature.

I would not mind seeing this. I do not need all the other features ExtComands gives. Not worth it unless you purchase ExtCommands+. (100$)
