Andrew already has plans for the future.
And by "link ECC to an internal SkyBlock server", Do you mean, ECC has a skyblock server, or forward users to another server completely?

I don't think we would want to send ECC users to other servers. No no :p

 

Could we do a separate skyblock world? We have the portals available at spawn.

 

We could, But the size that the world would get, along with all the other stuff to make it run, It would cause immense lag on the Main Server.

We would need to dedicate a large amount of server space/power to another server. It would require a large amount of users to dedicate time their, and to increase donations so that we can power the increased server power needed.

 

+1 sky block would be pretty cool, but I think there should be a separate money system. Skyblock's resource needs are COMPLETELY different then that of the normal game. Either you just change the economy system in the hub or you have everybody start at $0 and have a new money system. A piece of dirt in sky block is much more valuable than diamonds.

 

I honestly think it would be better if it was a totally different money system. Users should not be able to benefit extremely from their actions in normal ECC and users in sky block should not be able to benefit from sky block to the normal ECC.

 

Think about it…..Why should some tycoon rich person be able to build some giant sky mansion from absolutely no money from sky block. It would defeat the purpose of Skyblock. The point is to build your way up slowly until you can prosper. You utilize farms, and mob spawning buildings. You user spawn eggs to your advantage for breedings and such. Some millionaire should not waltz in and build a giant 500x500 farm and make more millions of ECC. I think if a separate money system called like….SkyBlockCredits was created….and a different economy pay scale was made completely separate from ECC just like the Aether then this idea could work perfectly….otherwise…if it is the same economy system I would not support it.

 

But ya….This server is evolving, we are getting more users, and it has been a couple good years and if Andrew can add more things and it is in his power to make an entirely new pay scale and economy system solely for sky block then that would be fantastic! If Andrew can do it, then by golly we should add another hub to the server…it has been quite a while since another hub has been added I presume, so why not now..

I personally love Skyblock, and had the number one island on a server before I found ECC (please do not spank me for mentioning unnamed server). I would love to see this implemented, and would love to be a part of it.

I like skyblock, but I don't think it fits in with ECC. ( hardcore economy server)

If you want to play skyblock, go on a skyblock server with some of your ECC friends if you need to.

I don't understand this point :/ your throw out the phrase "hard core economy server" like building a nation form one island isn't hard core ._. Sky blocks is actually very challenging if you have the right settings. If we were suggesting a pvp based game then ok the "hardcore" part is reasonable. But sky blocks is hardcore X) and if made correctly where u can make money from it but have nothing to start with besides a starter chest, that is really hardcore and cool. ^~^
