Also i think the old spawn shops should come back the new ones 100000% suck in my opinion there not even in order makes it hard to find shops.

"Old spawn" isn't very specific. I only know which one is being talked about because I experienced it, lol.

Anyway, the reason for "good memories" is not a good reason. Sure, some of us have good memories in that spawn version, but a lot of new users will never have those memories.

The current spawn is confusing, that much I agree with... especially with no fly or teleportation methods. And yes, there is some bad light on it for it being copied without credit given (before winning). However, it does fit the, erm... "theme" or "style" of any modern and big server nowadays - at least the ones with similar genres (eceonomy / towny / some role play / universals). Sadly, it is what new users look for, even if it is extremely confusing. They want big. They want grand. They want "pretty" or "cool" or "awe-striking." As well, sadly, a lot of people in our generation(s) like that... "darker" and "moody" feel.

I want the "old" spawn back as much as the next user from around 2013, but it is not only impossible to get back, but it does not fit in the "theme" of what people look for. That spawn version actually made new users leave when joining because it looked shotty, poorly done, uninspiring, and very old Beta Minecraft. That isn't necessarily bad, but it is not good for growth in Minecraft's current age...

Having a different spawn would be nice. One that doesn't "feel" bigger than it is (one or two floors, max). However, I do not think you guys realize how hard it is to change spawn at this point... It was hell changing it to what it currently is, and that was coming from a crappy and lack-luster spawn, which came from a non-complex spawn (the one mentioned in this suggestion). Changing it again - to something fitting the "theme" but feeling more familiar - would be a huge hassle.

Not possible, huge hassle and struggle, going backward is non-progressive and not what new users look for (sadly). I'm -1, even though I love "old" spawn. Things need to grow... I just wish they grew into something more intuitive and user-friendly.

I don't think we should dwell on the past, but rather look ahead to the future - a new spawn could be everything we need it to be, just a hassle to change.

 

Just checked there...who made it? The survival games signs actually work. I couldn't create them, so was it built by staff members? ô_Ô

I personally think the new spawn is an improvement for new players to see. It looks official and is very iconic I -1 on this. However the old spawn is very nostalgic.​

 

I thought we had already said that it is literally impossible to get the old spawn back, cause we don't have it saved anywhere? We might get another new spawn in the future that may be similar though.

 

There has to be a copy of old spawn somewhere out of all of thee backups that must have been made even on the test server.

 

I assume that old backups are deleted after a while...if we would make a backup every week, imagine how much space that would require.
