I know Mission and LadyVamp were thinking about owning a spawn shop, and I would love to see this added.

I had an issue where since I don't own ext creations, I can't make lift signs for my shop:/ like picking stairs over elevator no one does itXD I'm sure it would be uesful for this and so users could make profit togeather:) +1 if no issues in adding it

I can't really think of any negatives either tbh...
It will make finding troll locks harder, but their isn't many of them anyways.

Of course it won't help maintain the shop really as only one person can put into a sign, but for sure it would still be very helpful

What if the shop expires and users lose the things in their shop? What rules govern the renewal of shops and the responsibility of which users to renew? What if the owner needs to leave for extended periods of time and can't renew, thus screwing over the other members of the shop? Does it constitute as scamming, trolling, etc.?

The easy possibility for drama is most of the reason that this was never implemented in the past, and while I understand the reasons for wanting multiple users to run a shop, I don't support it, because as many responsible users who would use it properly like Chundi and Mission and LadyVamp, there are just as many users who would try to use such a system to troll and screw people over.

 

I'll address all your questions.

Only the owner of the shop can apply for Renewal. If the shop expires the shop is cleared and both users will lose their things.

If the person who is added as a member of the shop knows that it won't be renewed then they have to take their stuff out. Just like if your mayor sellsa town you have a plot in, a lot of times you just need to pack up and leave.

If the owner cannot renew the shop then they will lose it, Just like it is normally. Yes it would screw over the other members, however if they owner knew they could always transfer the shop to one of the members.

People who are members that put things in the shop are doing it at their own risk.

 

Although this would be cool to have, I believe that phys said that this wouldn't happen in the ts interview a while back mainly for the reasons skylexia said above.
