Suggestion

Unfortunately, Great Leader, there is no way of doing this. The "clear lag" or "butcher" as it's called is not related to ECC, it is a core bug in Minecraft itself. We have no control over it. Best thing to do is keep important things like star tools in a chest when doing an e-repair for them.

 

To avoid this just delete your drop key from your keyboard. It's that simple. Or move it to a button besides q that you would never press

This is what I do, I have my drop key as "L", this helped me solve the problem of dropping stuff.

 

Though, I wish there would be such a thing like butcher avoiding clearing items, like enchanted tools in general.

Or maybe I should just keep wishing and dream it.

 

If this is a bug why has Mojang not given a crap about it for over three updates?

 

1. Mojang doesn't give a crap on anything. They are lazy bums with money. Why would they care about their own game? All they care about is making money off it.

Never drop tools. Remove/change your "drop" key. Always use cheats to transfer items
