Suggestion: add into the plus version of the new nametags donation feature the ability to /toggle rank and /toggle tag.
The idea of the toggle function is to turn it on or off or to be able to select the rank you wish to display, if you are an ecoleader and wish to look like a builder
Also the ability to /toggle {on/off} the custom tag. A user then could if they wanted just chat in the chat channels using only their name or with nickname + rank or nickname + customtag

Reason: This is to flesh out the plus version of the donation and make it even more exciting

The basic idea is to give donators of the plus version full control over their name and titles when speaking. A user can choose to use the full title say :
[G]Supermoderator [trevalynwide] trevalynfar: Hello there
or just :
[G]Terminator *Trev: Hello there

Just more variety to chat and the ability to select the accolades they have to their name

 

Well that would be true in the case of a mod yes, but others might like the ability to cycle through their ranks freely

 

Horrible? It would be an option to flesh out the new feature more, you could only select ranks you hold. It doesn't force you not to have your ecoleader rank demoted. But if you wanted to toy around being a builder again, the option is there. Or if you wanted to have one of the other ranks that tend never to show up, pilot, captain etc...

Its all just meant to be a bit of fun, personally I can see it as being amusing and not lame.

 

What Scott said is what I mean by this. You have to have the rank in order to display it.
