    So you're building your house in the wild and boom a guy with mega destruction skills comes and destroys it. Now you're low on stuff and will never become a high class ecocity citizen. But what if they were dumb and had a stick while you had an iron sword. You could kill them! This means you can kill them so they can't steal and leave. Now some FAQ are "What about OP diamond dudes" answer: the wild is expansive and the command makes you far away from other people. The idea Is that if someone does mess with you, you can kill them. If that "guy" is a diamond dude then it's just survival of the fittest. Another question is "It's supposed to be a peaceful server!" answer: well it still is, the only thing we are trying to change is whether you can defend yourself outside of the safety of a town. It makes sense that outside a town you may face dangers and those dangers will probably be other people. Tell me what you think in replies but it's just an idea so don't go to crazy and bring in your hate freight to the party.

    Any one that is just starting out, hence the need to be in wild, would be screwed by this. It only costs a couple grand, not hard to make at all with basic gear, to get a protected plot if you are worried about it being messed up. Some are even free. This is not needed and would cause more players to leave with people killing them for no reason.

    The idea of the wild is that you are spaced out. If you fear murder hide a house underground. Either way you'll get greifed and getting killed probably isn't much worse so you might as well add PVP to defend people who are seeing greifing at it happens.

    I don't recall Phys changing this to a pvp server. How about we stick to the economy part and actually live up to the server's name?

    If you have time to build you either have enough to get a plot or you shouldn't waste your time building.

    When I first started on the server, I created a farm in the wild. 150x85. I never saw a soul. Since I've moved on and given the farm to a new up and coming builder it is still grief free. Lock your chests up, and don't build mansions. I don't see the need for pvp in the wild, and frankly had it been in effect I doubt if I would have stayed on the server long enough to know how great it is.

    I built a small hut around 5x5x3 and it was griefed within 2 hours

    Edit: this was as a test as of making this post.
