I think this would be great for ecc because when I play with a friend or just in general and die I want to see how some one wins or if my friend is alive I have to txt or Skype him. There should be away exit spectator if you don't care but I thought this would be a good suggestion for ecc.
Easily abused. I can go into spectator mode let's say with @Vintage_Gamer in the game. I can give him hints as to where everyone is in the game as well as the location of chests. -1
In theory this would be cool to have. In practice, people will abuse this by informing their friends of other people's locations and ruining the SG experience even more for other users. -1

I would like this, but for reasons above, it's a -1 for me. Also, you can /msg your friends to talk about the game if you die, instead of skype/text.
Hmm... I've had a really odd idea about this. We could make it so when you do "/spectate <user>" you "ride" them. Like pets riding your head, Only you would be riding the player. You would have no chat access, and you would only be able to move your viewing. Even at that, im sure you are always bound to have someone cheat. Anyways it was just a random thought.
I've seen games where people can first-person someone... Could this maybe be implemented somehow? Not sure if it's a custom plugin or a downloadable one, though...
No make it like you see the one who killed you his Point of view. and if you died by fall ect give it to the nearest person.
