Is f*cked over. :/ I've been texting him for.. an hour now?.. trying to help him get it fixed with my computer knowledge, which is asking him to check everything, and it won't work. Check plugs, clean out dust, make sure all parts are pushed in, give it a break, turn it on/off different ways.. and whatever else I could think of. It turned on then off when he hit the power button, then after cleaning dust off the fans only the fans and something else worked, without the light going on.. And now it won't work at all, I assume. >_> He wanted me to make a thread for "I won't be on for a long time," since I can't fix it without being there, he can't fix it, and I don't know how his money situation is with fixing his PC or getting another. :/
quick question regarding your problem. does the computer start up and immediatly shuts down again or does it shutdown when the OS starts booting? (blue screen of death)
It was turnin on then istantly off.... The moo told me to clean it. Now its just the hatd drive wont ten on
you might need a new hard-drive and that might cost around $175 (rough conversion from €) you must pinpoint the exact problem first though

i have the pc fixed, i can get on it but it shuts down randomly... hell im lucky i can write this! well anywho all i have on this is windows shit, not java no adobe NOTHING hopfully updates give me the essentials! i will see how it goes

I bet updating it will help. If not, you can just go to the Java website (or the websites for the other stuff) in order to download everything again.
