hello guys, new people join ECC everyday, some thrive some quit now we want to save the quitters most people dont understand and give up and leave WE WANT TO STOP THAT its simple on your part i am co-mayor of helms-deep. you can donate a little bit to get a builder a place to live/build a home,diamond tools (pick and shovel and axe), and food simple, you can get a builder to thrive, for the cost of $250 $500 to get a 2 builders on their feet. 2 of 2 builders done msg me ingame to donate . even if u cannot afford $250 anything helps! I understand you wish for new players to stay and I believe many others also want new players to stay and increase the player count and add to the community. Unfortunately, I dont think its as easy as giving them free things (although that may help). I think helping them know their way around would be more likely to make the stay. On the topic as a whole, I think that in order to get more builders to stay the server should seek to give builder better ways to understand the server (other than just strait info dumping hundreds of things on them), seek to faze out or change certain features that make builders think they cant play here without their parents credit card (cause its not true), and making general life for builders more exiting.

The tutorial section has three great tutorials to get situated, direct people to the forum tutorials or link to those three specific. Its seriously the best way. Id say iron pic and axe is all a builder needs. Diamond is overkill...just explain ereps briefly. I do them free all the time. And others advertise the same in game. I agree with @RyanBlocks2 about dumping stuff on them...but dont spend your day educating. And who cares if you cant place water, crops grow fine without placement, just have to hoe more often. Id love to see more players, forums have plenty of answers and can get 4 nstars to cover a plot and tools in less than 2 minutes.
