Also, my home is set in what I believe to be the last large unclaimed ice spike biome (300x150 or so). I would love to be able to save that biome before it gets destroyed.

(Fralling down holes with valuables, lava encounters, etc.) Once I get mayor I can focus on a small area of land that is safe for me to live in. I'd also give plots to builders!
