WELCOME Hello ladies and gentlemen to this October’s last spooooooky themed edition *Bows for applause* I’m sure you are all interested in finding out who I have selected to be the very first staff members of the ECC blog, but you will sadly have to wait until the end to find out . It’s ok, I’m sure a little wait whilst you read the first part of the blog wont dramatically harm your lives . Anyway, I also decided that as this is the last October edition I would, instead of interviewing someone, just feature all the remaining builds that I thought were truly spooky. So, without further ado, I give you all the final spooky edition of the ECC blog! (random side note, I found this zombie pigman and thought it would be great for this edition ) SPOOKY BUILDS GALORE! Check out these screenshots of the awesome spooky builds that were entered to the spooky build contest!I apologize if you feel your build should have been featured but I can't feature them all. These builds were built by (names are in order of appearance): BLTwitch, lavajok and eben48, SparklyPotato2, _NameUnknown_, Blastmeaway, britrudu SG AND MCMMO FORUM MEDALS I really must say that I was thrilled to hear that now there will be recognition for people who ha e achieved so highly in sg or MCMMO. I know for myself, I won't be getting an MCMMO medal anytime soon but I could see myself getting an sg medal sometime in the distant future. When the sg leader boards were added I thought that was awesome because then those players that primarily play sg would have a way of competing for the position of top warrior. ADDITION OF NEW MAINWORLD I am so excited to announce that we will be getting a brand new main world to populate with awesome towns. I personally am looking forward to what the new world will look like (ie. Spawn) and maybe I'll get my president town there... You never know. Thus leads me into the next thing about the addition of another main world, will people continue using the present time main world, or will the majority start populating the new world. I'm somewhat conflicted on whether I will make a nation in the new or old main worlds. I'd love to see how you all feel about this massive change so please leave your ideas in the comments below! What do I think of the new mainworld being added? I think that old players like welikeike22 had a huge advantage over the rest of us. They are old players so they claimed land right next to spawn 2 years ago. Now there is another chance for players to claim land next to spawn again! This is giving the newer players a chance.
I love the idea of the new spawn, I'm gonna put in my pres app right away and get a town close to spawn!
How do you feel about the new main world? I thought this was an ingenious idea. It resolved all the concerns from those wanting the new biomes from 1.7 and also alleviated the concerns with those not wanting their towns reset. How can their be any downside? With that said, I probably won't use it as I have a huge area in Legacy to use up. ...But maybe one day.

According to andrewkm, he is considering an auction for the "prime spots in Rising. Considering these "old" players have access to millions of dollars, it will be rare if anyone except the very rich have that land. After all, it is a hardcore economy server and it has grown now to the point where the truth is that the rich will get richer and the poor will be left behind in the dust. Millionaires are being made literally overnight and I have noticed that begging (disappointing with the amount of earning opportunities given here at ECC ) has become much more frequent.
Not really sure what you mean by "Prime Spots" but I think what you're saying is completely true and maybe something good would be for gate towns to be rented out like spawnshops (sorry if that's what you meant by Prime Spots). Of course it would also be good if there was an auction for the towns (like you suggested). What I don't like about the current gate towns is that they weren't earned through hard work but were claimed by chance. But with the new gate towns one thing is clear. If someone claims the gate towns it won't be by chance but it will be because they are rich and they have earned it. However andrewkm decides who will own the gate towns (if he decides at all) I just hope that he will do it in a way so that it's not just about who can place town posts and submit a town app fastest.
