Over the past few days, every now and then I would go on "Timing Out" sprees. Bascially I could connect but the connection would last only a few seconds before timing out. This would happen for 10-15 times before I gave up/had a steady connection. Any ideas how to stop timing out entirely?

@officepwnz123 this happened to me when my internet went out. I connected to my neighbors with permission and since it isn't as strong i would lose connection. And it would say timed out. Im assuming its something to do with the connection and not the server

Correct. I think that the Java.Timeout usually means the ping to the server (a.k.a. your connection speed). When it exceeds a limit it times out.

As said before, this occurs when your internet cannot connect to the server. I would suggest that you try to reset your router, that might help preventing it from happening in the future.
