Recently, I've had several potential town members ask to buy a plot in my town and when I direct them to my town thread on the forums this inevitably happens:

1. They ask where the forum is located
2. They ask where the town thread is located
3. 10 minutes go by
4. They say they can't post in the thread
5. I ask them if they have a forum account, they say no
6. I spend a few minutes coaching them on how to register with the forums
7. They say they can't find the "create account" tab
8. They ask if they can just buy a plot without registering


Does this happen to anyone else? I just want them to be able to register so they can read the town rules and so they can register complaints if they ever get scammed/griefed/trolled/banned/etc. Also, I don't know how they expect to ever go up in rank or own a town if they don't have a forum account.
